ABRAHAM'S INFERTILITY RESEARCH OF GYNAEC CENTRE

"For excellence in Reproductive medicine"

What is meant by Infertility?
After marriage, when the couples fail for procreation, without using any contraceptives for a year the stage is called primary infertility. At the same time frequent abortion is also a kind of infertility. The cause of infertility is seen 40 % in men and 40% in women and10 % could be because of unpredictable reasons.
Modern medical treatments available in the hospital are explained below. For detecting the cause of infertility in men and women blood test, Hormone detection, periodic Ultrasound Scanning, X-ray of the uterus, Endometrian Biopsy, Laproscopy, Hysteroscopy (Endoscopy) are used.

Laproscopy

Operative Video Laproscopy for Tubal and Ovarian Pathology Operative Video Hysteroscopy for UterinePathology
LAPROSCOPY HYSTERECTOMY
The doctor does operation for removing uterus and ovary and for stopping conceiving by KeyHole Surgery. The tumors having growth of 32 weeks can be removed by this Surgery. The advantages for this surgery is that you don't require time for healing and you can get back to your job as soon as possible, Since this kind of operation doesn't require to stay at hospital and rest the expenses will be very less compared to other surgeries.

RECANALISATION SURGERY
Using this surgery, Men and Women can regain their reproductively

INTRA UTERINE INSEMATION
In male infertility when the count or efficiency of sperms are less then the sperm is washed (Sperm wash) in the lab for increasing the count and mobility and then placed in the uterus. This is IUI treatment. This is done after detecting the count of ovule secretion using UltraSound Scanning . Sometimes the IUI has to be done many times. If the sperm count is too bad then IUI treatment itself is required.

Facilities Offered
Semen Analysis
Ultra Sound Scanning
Video Laproscopy
Intra Uterine Inseminatino
Donor Insemination
Cryo Preservation
Surgery For Variocele
Epididymo Vasostomy

CRYO PRESERVATION OF SPERMS (SEMEN BANK)
It is a facility for preserving the sperms for longer duration.

DONOR INSEMINATION
If the testis of the man doesn't secrete enough Sperm (Testicular Failure, Sertoli cell only syndrome) then a donor sperm is washed and injected into the uterus, which is called Sperm Donation.

VASOGRAM
This happens, when the semen with no sperm, or whose testis doesn't secrete or there is block in the tube. To detect this an X-ray of the tube is taken and this is called Vasogram
